About us
Hello my name is Anja Maas, I am from the Netherlands living and working in the Netherlands and Mallorca. I have been working as a yoga teacher since 2007, and since 2008 I have my own practice for massage and body therapy in the Netherlands and from 2020 also in Mallorca. I have had a special love for the Baleraren since 1981 and I am very happy that I can offer yoga retreats in the past, present and in the future in this magical place in the world. My passion lies in inspiring and creating and my strength lies in organizing. I am therefore always very grateful to see how people come to themselves in their own way during a retreat and find the peace and space to enjoy and experience the joy of life. Hello, my name is Marcel de Groot. I live in the Netherlands and work in home care for elderly people. I am a sociable person and like to hang out with people, listening and making soul and blues music together is a joy for me. Eating and drinking with friends and family is an important part of my life. Especially good food. Cooking is my passion and has become a serious hobby that has been expanding into cooking for retreats for some time now. Mallorca has a great range of delicious honest ingredients to cook with. During the retreat I will provide you with a beautiful vegetarian Mediterranean cuisine, colorful, tasty and healthy for body and mind, soul food! I look forward to cook for you and creating something beautiful together during this inspiring week.
The location
Finca s, Almundaina is an authentic and sustainable villa of no less than 900m2, hidden in the beautiful rolling countryside in the middle of Mallorca. Surrounded by unspoilt nature, tranquility and comfort it will be very easy to find peace and relaxation.
The finca is located at Montuiri, 30 minutes by car from the airport. From here it is easy to visit the rest of Majorca and it is a 5 minute drive to a number of traditional authentic Mallorcan villages.
There are 6 large attractive bedrooms for 2 persons with the option of separating the beds into comfortable single beds. Each room has its own bathroom, and for each room there is also a lovely private terrace.
Inside the villa there is a spacious living room with fireplace and a fully modern equipped kitchen where the most delicious dishes are prepared for the guests. There is an opportunity to eat indoors with the group in a super cozy space at a beautiful table with a spectacular view over the landscape, of course this is also possible outside in a beautiful natural environment.
In the large garden of 8000 m2 you will find all kinds of Mediterranean plants, palm trees and fruit trees and the presence of the peacocks that roam freely gives you the feeling that you are really in paradise. What else is there: There is a large salt water swimming pool surrounded by a spacious chill out area with sun beds, umbrellas hammocks. A BBQ corner with a stone oven for pizzas. A lovely sauna room. A beautiful spacious light Yoga shala equipped with all the yoga necessities. There is an outside gym, plus table tennis. There is even a small kind of farm with pot-bellied pigs, chickens and geese. And there is a private parking space for those who come with a rental car
Day and evening classification
A day and evening division has been made with various activities, which can of course be taken according to your own needs. The day is arranged in such a way that, in addition to the activities on offer, there is still a lot of space and time for yourself that can be filled in according to your own ideas and needs.

Selection of activities
Hatha Yoga and Hatha flow in combination with Yin Yoga a nice balance between Yin and Yang. The lessons are always adapted to the moment, time and energy.
Meditation calm and active forms. In silence or with sound, in rest or in movement, with visualization or especially focused on the pranajama, a range of different meditative forms and techniques that are a valuable contribution for you during this week to gain insight and peace.

Hiking, guided walking through the beautiful nature of Mallorca. Be surprised by the versatile landscape of Mallorca, there is much to see, smell, hear and feel. The energy that this landscape conveys is a true experience, pure and often enchantingly beautiful. Dance, among others The 5 Rhythms. Let yourself be carried away by the rhythms and from there you can paint your experience intuitively on paper in total freedom, your own expression in color, shape and movement
Visiting the famous Wednesday morning market in the nearby town of Sineu is a real experience. Super cozy terraces on the idyllic square of the beautiful authentic old town, with an enormously diverse range of really the most diverse things.
Sailing trip, on the clear blue water, mooring in one of the beautiful curves of Mallorca where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water, and enjoy delicious food which will be served on board and who knows as a surprise on the beach . A special tour where you can experience the unique beauty of Mallorca in an intense way.
In the evenings there are activities such as music, mantras, meditation, socializing or preferably going to bed on time. AND AGAIN; NOTHING HAS TO, EVERYTHING IS ALLOWED.
For this Freedom retreat we have a very nice line up with co-workers who are unique in their kind and are among the best on the island. We are therefore extremely grateful that they are cooperating and will make this week a very special experience.

We are going for a group of 8 people. We consciously keep it to a relatively smaller group because we can pay sufficient attention to everyone. We stand for quality, and want to be able to fulfill all our promises, and believe that we can deliver on this better in a smaller group.

Transport from the airport to Finca s’Almundaina and back to the airport.
The 7 nights in a single or shared 2 person room.
Three meals a day and small snacks, water, tea, coffee all day long.
All activities, except for a few that are not included in the list.
What’s not included in the price of the retreat?
Airline ticket.
Rent of your own car.
All other massage/treatments.

Price for this retreat 7 nights pp all inclusive as indicated in a private room with private bathroom is total: € 1395,-

* The shared beautiful bathroom has a lovely spacious shower, toilet, sink and beautiful bath with a great view . This bathroom is located in the finca itself where the 2 rooms are without private bathroom.
When registering for the retreat, a deposit of €400,- is due.
The remaining payment of the total amount must be paid no later than 3 weeks before the start date of the retreat.
Of course you can also pay the total amount in one go.
We are aware of the fact that everything is becoming more expensive. We would like to make the retreat accessible to everyone. This year we offer the option to repay the costs for the retreat in parts interest-free until the end of December 2024.
Cancellation and refund
In the event that the organization cannot allow the retreat to continue in the event of corona measures or any other reason, a 100% refund will be made within 3 weeks of the total amount transferred by you for the retreat.
There is also a possibility to fix your booking in a then newly created date for the canceled retreat, within the year 2025.
In case you want to cancel yourself, this is possible up to 3 weeks before the start date of the retreat. If you cancel within these 3 weeks for reasons OTHER than serious injury or illness, death or corona restrictions from the country of origin, a refund of 50% can be given as costs have been incurred for you within that time place in the retreat. For all other cancellations, i.e. those made before 3 weeks and validly allowed cancellations within 3 weeks, a 3% administration fee will be charged. There are no partial refunds possible if, for example, you arrive later, or leave the retreat early, flight cancellation or travel delay. We are not responsible for that. You are allowed to bring in a replacement guest at all times if you want to cancel.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance for cancellation costs and illness.
